Planet Rhino is an educational website focusing on the main issues relevant to rhino and, by implication, some of the issues facing our PLANET. This platform is the result of a collaboration of contributors initiated through the award-winning TCU Rhino Initiative in partnership with Dr. Will Fowlds and in response to the poaching crisis which is sweeping across the world as part of the illegal wildlife trade.
The goal of Planet Rhino is to enhance both education and a greater appreciation of the complexities of rhino conservation and to provide you with a mechanism to direct your response in support of those non-profits on the ground. The solutions to the very complex issue of “poaching” lie in the holistic application of a complex suite of projects which will need to be applied through collaboration, cohesion, strategic thinking, and coordinated support.
